In 2023, a group of researchers from the Sano Centre for Computational Medicine in Poland conducted a study to investigate whether gamifying surveys increased completion rates. Their study involved 13 participants who completed three experiments, one of which was the Stroop Test .
The Stroop Test is a cognitively demanding test that requires participants to name the ink color of a word, where the word itself is the name of a color (most often different color than the ink). For instance, the word RED reads as one color, but has been printed in another.
Throughout the course of the Stroop Test, the biometric signals of the participants were captured using two wearable devices:Our project brings this data to life through interactive visualizations. To fully engage with the experience and understand the cognitive load faced by the original participants, we invite you to take the Stroop Test!
